MR was clearly focused oncreating a set of fins with goodholding power and lots of drive.The template has more rake than the original, to negate the slide andto improve the fins’ drive and holding power. Even though the fins’ have been principally designed for theMR’s Super Twins with the stabilisers included, we feel they are
very adaptable, and will suit a widerange of boards from 5'6" to 6'8", including fishes, and especially in
twin fins, without the stabiliser. From extensive experimentation both in the water tunnel and in the surf we have found the best NASA foil to use, forgiving enough to handle high angle of attack and stalls (slides) in a very controlled manner. The use of CNC milling to produce these fins guarantees that we get the performance out of the section that NASA engineers designed.
